The core activity of Alchemy Boulders received recognition from the government of Sri Lanka in the form of a gazette notification for the introduction of advanced technology in mineral processing, marking a new chapter in the mineral industry in Sri Lanka. Having amassed a wealth of experience in mining and mineral processing, the company now possesses the resources and flexibility to become a pioneer in catering to the requirements of mineral-supporting industries.

The year 2000 ushered in a new chapter for Alchemy Boulders. From humble beginnings, it has grown to become a progressive and dynamic player in the industry. The advanced technology adopted by Alchemy Boulders, together with the abundance of quality silica quartz in Sri Lanka, has made it possible for the company to venture into the export of processed silica quartz to global markets.

In 2001, Alchemy Boulders became an export-oriented company under the Board of Investment insignia. Alchemy Boulders’ capability to supply quality quartz at a high rate of capacity and to any given size distribution has impressed customers, resulting in the establishment of a solid client base. The company constantly stays abreast of the latest developments, integrating this knowledge into its operations.

Alchemy Boulders is now embarking on a new initiative to develop high-purity quartz through chemical intervention. This development will enable the company to produce high-purity quartz that meets the criteria for manufacturing high-end products for the global market. We already export over 150,000 tons of processed quartz, which is widely used in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and other markets.
